SPACE

Bechdel Project is located in the heart of Greenpoint's film district. Our building started life as a potato chip factory, then became studio space for sculptor Richard Serra, followed by pioneering installation artist Judy Pfaff, and is now home to Bechdel Project - a feminist arts incubator for storytellers in all mediums.

Our main studio is 800 Square feet of creative space. It features raw and industrial loft elements such as 12' ceilings with wood beams, vintage windows, exposed and whitewashed brick walls, and ample natural light.

The Bechdel Project Studios and Roof are perfect for photo and video shoots, rehearsals, and events of up to 25 people.

If you'd like to work in our space, send an email to admin@bechdelproject.org.
